To obtain our negotiated rates, please call the hotel directly (1-800-441-1414) and let them know you are part of the "CCFFR room block" to get the CCFFR rate. THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM IN THE HOTEL. If someone tells you our block is filled, please ask to speak to someone more knowledgeable (and email nick.collins@utoronto.ca). We have negotiated room arrangements that allow two people to share a room at the single room rate. Additional persons each cost an additional $20 per night. If you join the Fairmont President's Club (for free) and have the membership number ready when you make your reservation or check in, you will get free wireless internet in your room (otherwise $12/day).

The Royal York is located directly across the street from Union Station, the VIA Rail hub in Toronto. If you arrive by train, your walking time to the hotel won't be more than 5 minutes.

If you fly Porter Airlines to the Island Airport, a shuttle departs every 20 minutes for the 10-minute trip to Union Station, across the street from the Royal York. If you fly into Pearson International Airport check out this link about getting to the hotel:

The hotel's parking fees are $43/day (valet parking only). There is a City parking garage at 40 York St, right across from the hotel that will cost only $24/weekday and $14/weekend-day (more if you go in-and-out in that interval). Unfortunately you won't likely find anything cheaper than that in the downtown area.
