CCFFR 2004 Presentation and Poster Information


Oral Presentations:

  • Presentations must be made using PowerPoint format only (version 2002 or earlier). Time slots are limited to 20 minutes. The suggested format is 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Note: Because there are five concurrent sessions - time limits will be strictly enforced.

  • PowerPoint presentations MUST be emailed or sent (see below) to Dave Scruton ScrutonD@dfo-mpo.gc.ca or MUST be brought on a CD/diskette to registration on the 8th of January.

    If you require to courier your .ppt presentation due to its size, please send it to:

  • Participants e-mailing their presentations must also present a BACKUP copy of their presentation on CD to an audio-visualist assistant at the time of registration at the conference.

  • Projectors will be provided by chair members. Under no circumstances will presenters be permitted to use their own laptop computers.


    Poster Presentations:

  • Posters should be designed to fit within a rectangular space no greater than 122 cm wide X 91.5 cm high (4 ft x 3 ft).

  • Materials necessary for mounting posters to the poster-panels will be available.

  • Posters are to be installed during Registration on Thursday evening, January 8th, from 17:00 to 20:00, at the rear of Salon A. The Poster Session will be conducted on Friday January 9th, from 17:00 to 19:00. Refreshments will be served during the poster session.

  • Posters can be removed anytime after the Poster Session, but it is a benefit to all to keep all posters on display during the entire course of the meeting.
