Research Assistant, I currently working on several projects. My main project is to create a prototype array of hydrophones to locate Right Whales in the Bay of Fundy using passive acoustics.
Research Assistant, I was responsible for analyzing data from around the bays of Newfoundland. Time series analysis was done using Matlab and Foreman's Tidal analysis code. Included in this time was a trip to Trinity Bay on the Coast Guard ship Shamook.
Teaching Assistant, whose responsibilites varied from semester to semester. They included: marking assignments, working in the Physics Departments help centre, and as a demonstrator in an undergraduate lab.
Computer programmer involved in a vessel tracking system for use as a diagnostic aid. This involved image interpretation of images obtained by Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This also required the completion of a university credit, 4th year physics course on Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Activity Director at a residential camp for 144 boys aged 8 to 15. I was resposible for Thursday Cookouts, evening and Sunday activities, as well as a leader for an 8 day whitewater trip to the Sturgeon River near Temagammi, Ontario. I also lead rockclimbing cookouts, and white water cookouts, and was a driver for the camp.
Quality Control (Co-Op) - A member of a software development team. Tested the functionality of many developing software projects for the company.
CIT Director - Responsible for the Counselor in Training program at the camp. Also responsible while on out-trips including leading white water canoeing trips and rock climbing excursions.
