I am in my second year at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. I'm doing a Master's in Oceanography under the supervision of Dr. Barry Ruddick. I am investigating the turbulent diffusivities of heat and salt.
Prior to moving to Halifax, I did a Master's degree from the University of British Columbia in Economics. Prior to this degree, I completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Alberta.
During my undergrad, I worked for Dr. Bruce R. Sutherland at the
university. My research was mainly focused on studying the behaviour of gravity currents (also called density or buoyancy
currents) and intrusions.
