  • PowerPoint presentation files need to be in PowerPoint 97' (*.ppt 97') format.

  • Participants must bring a BACKUP copy of their presentation on a 3" floppy or CD to the conference and must check with the audio-visual assistant at least 3 hours prior to the start of their session.

  • Projectors will be provided by chair members.

  • Poster Presentations:

  • Posters should be designed to fit within a rectangular space no greater than 2.4 m wide X 1.2 m high (8 ft x 4 ft).
[please excuse the moving target for poster sizes - they arise from sources elswhere]

  • Poster-panels are cloth-covered. Thus, "Velcro" mounting material or tape will be required to mount the poster on a 2.4m x 1.2m panel.

  • Posters should be set up in the Confederation III hall (where the bar will be located!) at the Ottawa Westin Hotel prior to, or during, the welcoming mixer on the evening of Thursday 02 January so that they may be viewed during the mixer.

  • Authors should attend their posters during the "official" poster session on the evening of Friday 03 January from 17:00 to 19:00 hrs.

  • It is to the benefit of all that posters can, and should, be on display during the entire course of the meeting.
