LaTeX

LaTex is a powerful compilable way of writing scientific text. Unlike the well know WYSIWYG text editors like word, LaTeX lets you write code to create your document. Its most useful property is that it is based on styles and templates which can be distributed and will always produce similar looking documents. You can then easily add your own text within and create a professional looking document by taking advantage of all the hard work of the template creator.
